耶鲁大学(英语：Yale University)是一所坐落于美国康涅狄格州纽黑文的私立研究型大学，创于1701年，初名“大学学院”(Collegiate School)，是全美历史第三悠久的高等学府，亦为常春藤盟校成员之一。该校教授阵容、学术创新、课程设置和场馆设施等方面堪称一流。除了研究生课程之 外，耶鲁同时也非常注重本科生教育。在各个大学排名榜单中，都一直名列前茅。

耶鲁最重要的管理特色是“教授治校”，这一特色对美国高等教育产生了巨大影响。建校初期，经过3代校长的努力，耶鲁逐渐形成了董事会不具体参与校务管理、而由教授会治校的法规。在当时的美国流传着这样一句话：“普林斯顿董事掌权、哈佛校长当家、耶鲁教授做主”。

耶鲁大学是世界上最早设立人文和艺术学科的大学之一。耶鲁特别强调自由的思想和自由的学术空气。这种“自由教育”的原则，使耶鲁能够包容各种思想流派，保持勃勃生机。

该校最强的学科是社会科学、人文学以及生命科学。耶鲁大学管理研究生院于1978年创设了独特的课程——公营和私营企业专业管理(Public & Private Management)课程，它着重公营及非赢利机构的专业管理训练。课程安排有六成是授课，四成为个案研究，后者有一半是公办或非赢利机构的个案，耶鲁 大学的企管硕士不叫MBA而是MPPM，其来源也在于此。
