阿尔伯塔大学(University of Alberta)，始建于1908年，位于加拿大阿尔伯塔省省会埃德蒙顿市中心，北萨斯喀彻温河南岸，是加拿大最好的研究性大学之一，多年来在不同的大学排名上稳居加拿大前五位。

阿尔伯塔大学目前共有五个校园，其中埃德蒙顿市中心北萨斯喀彻温河南岸的主校园是建校的原址。在埃德蒙顿市区还有在主校园以东数公里的圣让学院所在 的以法语为通用语言的圣让校区，以及主校园以南数公里的福第体育场所在的南校区，和即将开始运作的在北萨斯喀彻温河北岸市中心的市中心校区。此外，在埃德 蒙顿东南一百余公里的小城康罗斯，还有一个奥古斯塔纳校园，它是于2004年并入阿尔伯塔大学的奥古斯塔纳大学学院的原址，现在则是奥古斯塔纳学院的所 在。

阿尔伯塔大学校园内的各种设施十分完备先进。主校园占地89公顷，还有5，000公顷校外科研用地，广阔的校区容纳了400个科研实验室，包括全加 最有实力的激光实验室、最居前沿的扫描电子显微镜实验室，两套NMR设施和一些农业科研站点。大学图书馆是加拿大第二大科研图书馆，人均图书拥有量居全加 第一。 Timms艺术中心拥有国内最新最好的戏剧教学设施。体育娱乐中心兼有室外与室内的多种娱乐设施。学生公寓与商场相连，是方便、舒适的生活场所。
